By Sarah Ferguson  Congratulations are in order for my friend Piers Morgan who won NBC's TV Show, The Celebrity Apprentice!
I very much admire Piers' confidence, determination and creativity. He ruffled some feathers as a rather fierce competitor, but in the end I know that Piers performed extraordinarily well for a charitable cause. He raised an impressive $250,000 for the charity, The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund which supports men and women in the armed forces. 
Piers had approached me prior to the event, for advice on organizing a charity event. I was more than elated to have helped him by offering "A Tea with The Duchess of York" as an auction item, which was auctioned off to my dear friend, Howard Lutnick.

I was delighted when Piers came by my New York office for ideas on charity fundraising. Having established the Sarah Ferguson Foundation and Children in Crisis , and as patron to numerous charities, charitable fundraising is something I indeed know something about.
